Overview
This 4 Days Gorilla Trekking & Mburo Wildlife Safari will bring you to Uganda’s most beautiful and important places, these include Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest and most beautiful Savannah park, where you stand chance to see many different species of game animals. Including Impalas, Zebra, Giraffes, Elands, waterbucks, buffaloes, bushbuck, Topi, and on lucky occasions leopards. In the water on lake Mburo, you will not miss the hippopotamus, crocodiles and aquatic birds. The Uganda safari will then bring you to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park, a home to a half of the world’s population of mountain Gorillas, where you will enjoy the Gorilla trekking experience.

Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Airport pick & Transfer to Lake Mburo national park.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, or After Breakfast from your Hotel in Kampala, you will meet our Gorilla Trekking & Mburo Wildlife Safari experienced Tour Driver/ guide who will transfer you to lake Mburo national park. Long the way, You will make stopover at the Uganda equator for photography, thereafter proceed your journey arriving Lake Mburo National Park.

You will then go for evening game drive safari where you stand chances to see Zebra, Giraffe, Buffaloes, Impala, Elands among others, not missing Ankole long horned cows famous for this area. You will thereafter go to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight stay at:

Day 2: Morning Game walk / Game drive & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
In the morning after breakfast, set off the Gorilla Trekking & Mburo Wildlife Safari day with a Game walk/ Game drive in Lake Mburo National park, where you will experience game viewing on foot. Game walk is the perfect way to get close encounters with animals in the park. Alternatively do Game Drive Safari.

You will stand high chances to see Zebra, Topi, Impala, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Elands, leopard, warthogs and birds among others. After lunch proceed your journey, arriving Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park early evening. Relax at your lodge, have dinner as you prepare for your gorilla trekking experience next day.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Community walk
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will report at the park office headquarters with your packed lunch and drinking water for a briefing about the do’s and don’ts of trekking gorillas in the thick impenetrable forest. After briefing, you will the enter the forest for your gorilla trekking experience which may take about 3-6 hour. You get to spend a maximum of one hour once you find the gorillas. Gorilla trekking is strenuous exercise, but the joy you experience after encountering the gorillas is overwhelming.

On return from Gorilla trekking you may relax for a short time, then depending on how strong you will be, go for community walk to enjoy and interact with local people including Batwa (pygmies) as you learn about their traditional way of living.

Day 4: Transfer back to Entebbe/ Transfer to Kigali for Departure
After your Gorilla Trekking & Mburo Wildlife Safari relaxed breakfast, your Tour guide/driver will transfer you to Entebbe for departure or Kigali in Rwanda depending on your flight arrangements.
